Last week, a retreat was held in Sun Valley, Idaho. Yes, the resort was beautiful, the service first class, and the energy superb. But the thing that I’m still holding dear and still talking about was the miracle that took place for seven women from around the United States that lost children. For those who haven’t heard, it was a Parent-Child Reunion hosted by Sally and Steve Baldwin and their non-profit Foundation: Dying to Live Again.
When Kristen, Denise, Kathleen, Sandy, Judy, Janette and Carol arrived, they were still in the holding grip of sadness—that pit of yearning grief and sorrow that consumes one from your first thought in the morning until you lay your head down at night. You could see it in their eyes, their smiles and their body language. They had been frozen in time. I announced to them Thursday evening when we met for the first time, that they would be forever changed. However, they were, as we all were, unaware of the transformation in just three and a half days. I had witnessed a miracle. The staff had witnessed a miracle. The women had been the miracle! And yes, many will doubt—and cast misgivings and disbelief but just like love and just like rainbows--it was real. If you are open –it is real.
Anything that is Eternal is real. We are eternal. Therefore we are real—existing in this body or not!

This is Kathleen, I am one of the blessed moms that had her life changed by Sally at the Parent-Child Reunion Miracle. And, yes, it most certainly was a miracle!
ReplyDeleteSally has changed my life and lifted me from the dark clouds that have surrounded me since my oldest son, Edward died on 1-13-2007.
Through Sally, an exceptionally gifted medium, I was transformed and am now able to talk to my son, Edward. You have no idea how big that is unless you have lost a child.
I really can do it! Of course I am learning and
I have to practice, but I CAN DO IT!! And it can only get better and better....
What a wonderful feeling to be able to connect with him in this way. And, I can connect with my mom and dad, my guides, angels and council as well!! You just have to be open to the process. You've heard the saying that their are angels here, on earth? I met the greatest angel, Sally Baldwin; and I love her dearly.......
This is Kristen's sister, Julie. I can't tell you how grateful we are that she found her way to this retreat and Sally & Steve. She has finally found her peace after losing her daughter Sarah nearly three years ago. As for me, I can stop obsessing about the car crash that took my beautiful neice and continue my relationship with her...all the while marveling over the joy she has found. Words cannot express how happy we are to be learning, through Kristen, about the enery that surrounds us with the love of our lost ones.
